 once you have filled in this info, you can click the "add new" button at the bottom of the window to save the activity

 You can view and activity simply by double clicking on the activity, or by clicking the pencil icon on the left of the record, the same window will open. Here you can make any changes to the fields of the activity e.g changing the date of the activity. once you have made these changes you can click the "update" button to apply them.
