 The opportunities page displays the the opportunities that there are for either new or existing customers, they can act as prelude to the activities page. The opportunity page is where you will input any customers that may be interested in becoming customers.

 To Add an opportunity, simply click the "add new Opportunity" button at the top of the screen. a window will open that will ask you to fill  in info of the company as well as any contact info you may have on them.

 you can give the opportunity a phase if you wish to indicate what part of the process you have taken them through, e.g demo given or training booked, once you have filled in all this info you can save the opportunity by clicking the "add new" button

 You can edit an existing opportunity by either double clicking the record, or clicking the pencil icon next to the record. when the record opens, you can edit any of the existing lines of the opportunity e.g changing the phase of an opportunity, you can then save the changes by clicking the "Update" button at the bottom of the window
