+===== Source Code =====
+The Source Code is part a code that is used to indicate where the info on a company came from, it is located in the "Company info" section when viewing a company record. The source code essentially allows you to know where as the info in the "company Info" tab came from, for instance, the phone number and sales person info in this field can be attained from a website, so the source would be "website"

+You can add a source code to the a company record at any time, you can add it when your adding the company from brand new, or you can add it later when you get further info and you need to specify where that info came from.
+When selecting a source code option, you can either type in the source code you want, or you can select it from the drop down.

+To view a list of all the source codes currently in the system, you can navigate to the settings tab, select the "codes" option and click on the "source" option. This will show you a list of all the source codes that there are on the system.
+If you want to add a new code, again navigate to the settings and pick the "Source" option in the codes drop tab, here you can click the "Add New Source" button. This will open new row with blank code and description fields, the "Code" field will need to be filled in with an abbreviation of the full source name e.g. "Website" would be "WEB".
+You can make changes to any of the codes by clicking the "pencil" icon next to any of the codes, you can then edit both the "code" and "description" fields to make any necessary changes. to save the changes simply click the "tick" icon to the right of the code and the changes will be saved.

+The "Description" field is where you can name the source code fully e.g. "Website", this is the part of the code that will be visible on the [[Company|]] record. To save the new record, click the "tick" icon to the right of the record.
