====== Contract Type ======

The Contract Type Code is used to determine the level of a [[Contract]], for example what their standard level of cover is, whether they get any discount on [[Parts]] and Labour etc.

The Contract Type list will display all of the current Codes, and allow you to edit or create new ones if necessary.

When you click Add New Contract Type, it will open as a pop-up window as there are multiple fields to fill in.

The Contract Type Code is a unique code, in that it allows you to set another Code against it (the [[Cover]] Code). This can be used to determine the default 'working time' for this Contract Type.

==== Appearances ====

  * Contract Types are set against [[Contract]] records, mainly on the Contract screen.
  * They can also be set against an [[Equipment]] record - it will pick this information up from the selected Contract anyway, but this allows a Contract to have a different 'type' for one particular Equipment record.
