====== Product Group ======

Product Groups are Codes which can be used to categorize Products, which can be useful when setting up [[Design Questions|Question Groups]] or Planned Maintenance.

Product Groups can be added directly in the list by clicking the Add New Product Group button.

==== Linking Groups to Products ====

Once a Product Group has been set up, you can select a Product Code, and then assign the Group to it using the tickbox section. This will then allocate the Product to the chosen group.

Linking a Product to a Group isn't mandatory, but can be helpful when setting up Questions or PM Cycles

  * Product Groups are selectable on the Product Code screen
  * Questions and Question Groups can be made Product Group specific to show/hide them where relevant
  * Site PM Cycles can use Product Groups to determine which Equipment items get selected on the [[Call]]
