Call Type

The Call Type Code is used to provide a category for your Calls in a dropdown list, which can be used to determine the type of job, such as breakdown, service etc.

To open the Call Type Code list, click on your name on the top-right of the screen, and select 'Codes'. Within this list, you'll see the Call Type option. Click this and you'll get the list.

You can click the pencil icon to edit a Call Type, or click the 'Add New Call Type' button to create a new one.


Add Call Type

To add a new call type click the “Add New Call Type” button, you'll be asked to give the new call type a name, a colour to identify it by and a description of the call type.

You can specify any extra info such as the expected response time for this call type or if this call type need questions on its field reports.

You can edit any call type by clicking on the “pencil” icon next to each call type, this will allow you to make changes to any of the fields you need to, as well as setting the active state of the call.

  • Call types are a key piece of the call module as they specify what work is taking place
