Call Type
The Call Type Code is used to provide a category for your Calls in a dropdown list, which can be used to determine the type of job, such as breakdown, service etc.
To open the Call Type Code list, click on your name on the top-right of the screen, and select 'Codes'. Within this list, you'll see the Call Type option. Click this and you'll get the list.
You can click the pencil icon to edit a Call Type, or click the 'Add New Call Type' button to create a new one.
Add Call Type
Clicking 'Add New Call Type' will open a pop-up window. You'll need to fill in the Code, Description and Colour in order to save the record. You can also choose to link Question Sets to the Call Type, set up response/fix times & populate other details.
There are additional tabs where you can fill in charges (the default charges for this Call Type), and set up Part Allocation.
Charges
The Charges tab is used to set up the standard charges for this Call Type. If the Call is linked to a Contract which has charges, these will override the Call Type charges.

Is Time Billable | Should Time be billable by default under this Call Type |
Part Allocation
