The Diary is a section within the Call Module which can be used to plan, schedule and manage Calls within Call2Field. This screen can be opened as a new tab from the Nav Bar.

The Diary has different ways that it can be viewed, which may come in handy for different purposes. These are detailed below:

Day The Day view shows any chosen day for all Engineers. There is a button at the bottom to toggle between business hours & 24 hours.

Week The Week view shows any chosen week for all Engineers. There is a button at the bottom to toggle between business hours & 24 hours.

Agenda

Timeline

Timeline Week

Within the Diary View itself There are different views available such as Day, Week and Month which have a calendar style view, the Agenda view which is more of a list of appointments, and then Timeline & Timeline Week views which are similar to the Day & Week view but presented in a different layout.

The Month view can also be set to group by Engineer. This will give you a separate calendar for each selected Engineer which you can scroll downwards to view. If you don’t use this grouping you’ll just see all Calls / Activities for all Engineers in one calendar.

There is also the ability to select and filter what engineers you can see, say if you want to track a specific engineers calls for a period. To do this, click the “Settings” option at the top of the diary window, on the panel that opens on the left there will be a list of all the engineers (as well as a category for unassigned jobs) here you can tick and untick the engineers you want to see.
