The Diary is a section within the Call Module which can be used to plan, schedule and manage Calls within Call2Field. This screen can be opened as a new tab from the Nav Bar.

Double clicking on a Call will open it in a new tab. There is also a button at the top of the screen which allows you to add an Activity. These are entries in the diary which aren't a Call, such as a holiday, sick day etc.

The Diary has different ways that it can be viewed, which may come in handy for different purposes. These are detailed below:

Day
The Day view shows any chosen day for all Engineers. There is a button at the bottom to toggle between business hours & 24 hours.

Week
The Week view shows any chosen week for all Engineers. There is a button at the bottom to toggle between business hours & 24 hours.

Month
The Month view can either be viewed as one calendar for your chosen month, or by ticking the 'Group by Engineers' option in Settings, you'll be able to see a monthly calendar for each Engineer on a scrolling page.

Agenda
The Agenda view works more as an 'appointment list' style view, showing only the Calls that are in the diary rather than all available dates/times.

Timeline
The Timeline view is an alternate 'day' view, which shows Engineers down the side and time across the top. This view can be toggled between business hours and 24 hours.

Timeline Week
The Timeline Week view is laid out in the same way as the Timeline view, but this time rather than showing hours, will show days.

The Call List within Diary is used to get a list of jobs that can be used to easily assign and organize Calls within the Diary. This can be opened by clicking the 'Call List' button at the top of the Diary screen.

This list can be filtered by dates, or by using the columns to filter results. There is also a tickbox which can be used to only show Unassigned Calls.

The Settings section is where you can manage your Diary settings. This can be opened by clicking the 'Settings' button on the top of the Diary screen.

From here, you can create, save and load your own custom configured settings. Settings which can be changed include which types of 'task' can be viewed (Call, Call Events, Activities), Statuses of Calls/Events, and which Engineers will appear. You can also choose from here to 'Group by Engineer' which will show certain views per Engineer, rather than just showing one overall summary of Calls/Events/Activities.
