Event Type Code
The Event Type Code is part of the activity_list section of the sales module, it is used to specify what will be happening at the specified time, this can be anything from sales pitch to a simple phone call.

When creating and activity in the activity_list window, one of the first fields you will be asked to specify/fill in is the event type code, it is mandatory as it gives the entire activity context, it is a drop down filed so you can search for the right activity type code, or select it from the drop down.

You can view and edit any of the activity codes by navigating to the codes tab in the settings window, from there you can select the “Activity type” option and you'll be presented with a list of all the activity type codes that have been stored on the system

To edit a code, click the “pencil” icon laced to the right of the code, you will then be able to make changes to both the “code” and “description fields of the code. To save the changes you've made just click the “tick” icon to the right of the code.
Alternatively you can cancel the changes b clicking the “cancel icon that is next to the “tick icon” this will cancel any changes you just made to the code.

If you wish to add a new activity code, while on the activity type code settings, you can click the “Add New Activity Type” button located at the top of the page. Doing so will open new blank row, you will be required to fill in both the “Code” and “Description” Fields.
The “Code” field is where you can enter an abbreviated version of the activity types full name e.g. “Phone call” could be shortened to “Call”. The Description Field is where you'll name the new activity type fully, e.g. “Phone Call”. Once you have filled in both of these fields you can save this new code by clicking the “tick” icon to the right of the code.
