Quote Type
The Quote Type Code is used on the Quote screen to categorize Quotes.
The Quote Type Code is used within the Quote Module, as a way of categorising quotes into different areas, the quote type code can be used to specify if a quote is for a piece of machinery or for an entire job.
New Quote type codes can be added either by clicking the “+” icon on the quote type field, or by navigating to the codes setting and picking the “quote type” option.
In the window that opens you fill out a Code, Description and pre-set text fields, there is also an option to what report a quote can show on. Once you have filled in the required code and description fields, you can save the new quote type by clicking the “Update” button at the bottom of the window.
