Parts
The Parts screen is used to create, view and edit Parts & charges within Call2Field. It can be found under the Stock Module on the Nav Bar.
Parts List
The Parts List will show a list of all Parts in the system. This can be filtered and searched using the column headers or Advanced Search options. You can also tick 'Include Inactive Parts' to view any which have been set to Inactive.
Double click a Part to open the record to view & edit, or click the 'Add New Part' to create a new record.
Add Part
Part Add allows you to create new Part records.
Below is a description of the Part Types:
Part Type | Description |
---|---|
Disposable | A standard stocked item |
Repairable | A more high-value stocked item, which can be set as an Equipment Option |
Chargeable | A charge, such as Labour |
Saleable Product | A serialised 'Part' which also has a counterpart Product, and when used on a Field Report or Sales Order will create an Equipment item on the Site |
View/Edit Part
The Part Modify screen allows you to view and edit a Part record. From here, you can make changes to most of the fields.
Click Save to save any changes made.
To change a part number, click the renumber part button in the top right corner of the part details box. This will open up a window where you can input the new part number.
This will change the part number across the entire system. Part numbers need to be unique, so you cannot have two parts with the same number.
Tabs
Suppliers
The Suppliers tab will display a list of any Supplier who you've previously purchased this Part from. These can either be manually entered using the 'Add Part Supplier' button, or automatically saved based on Purchase Orders.
This list of Part Suppliers can be edited or deleted from this tab.
Kit Parts
The Kit Parts tab allows you to set a list of Parts which belong to your Kit.
A Part Kit is essentially one Part record that exists to represent multiple Parts under one label. A Part can be set as a kit by using the 'Kit Part' tickbox on the main Part screen. From here, add lines under the Kit Parts tab to build up the contents of your kit.
Usage
The Usage tab functions as a dropdown which gives the option to view the history of a Part, either on Field Reports or within the Stock Audit table.
The Field Report tab will show a list of Calls which have this Part on a Field Report, whereas the Stock tab will show the Stock Audit table filtered for this Part.
